In 1981 the Bulgarian TV (the only TV in the country by this time) shoots and plays the comedy "Bash master the farmer", which among other amusing stories of the characters, it is described how the furniture were bought back then. The main role is played brilliantly by the great Bulgarian actor Kiril Gospodinov.
1980
In the period 1970-1982 one of the products that were well accepted among the local residents was the "Moscow" library, production of the capital furniture factory "Moscow". Except in the YAVOR store in the capital and in the country, the library was one of the leading export products for factory outlets in the Russian capital - Moscow. The library was produced in separate modules (in a total of 5, including a wardrobe) of chipboard covered with natural oak or walnut veneer an it was varnished.

The former shop Yavor - Sofia (against CDS). In the period 1958-1989 furniture stores YAVOR could be found in almost every county (now regional) centers.
1970
In the 70s and 80s of the last century the Bulgarian furniture industry was intended to satisfy internal needs and partly for export to the then Soviet Union. The semiofficial organ, the newspaper "Rabotnicheskodelo" reported in one of the issues in 1974th for the woes of a family in the purchase and assembly of the furniture. Most of the local manufacturers proudly presented their products in the representative Yavor store in Sofia.

The first furniture from Yavor in Bulgaria
The first evidence for production of furniture under the brand Yavor in Bulgaria are form more than 130 years. The bureau and part of the furnishing of the cabinet of the first Bulgarian Prime Minister Todor Burmov (July-December 1879), was produced by the then "Chairs and carpentry workshop YAVORA."
